This is exactly what the title implies, a book about writing science fiction - a lot about craft, a bit about art, and a bunch of ideas that I hope will help people who want to write SF refine their ideas and their voices. I've included a number of exercises along the lines of theater games - games I play when I'm working on a book, and need to break out of a rut, find a voice, or solve a problem - as well as practical advice about the publishing process, and a series of chapters intended to help take you from a cool idea through world and character creation to the finished novel.
