The Jazz
Tin Lizzy makes her living in the jazz, creating the illusions
that fill the net and entrance and obsess the viewing public.
But when one of her clients turns out to have stolen a vital program
from one of the more aggressive entertainment entities, Lizzy
finds herself caught up in a problem that may bring her own past
back to haunt her.
Reviews
The New York
Times Book Review
- "a story of the Internet that, refreshingly, does not
rely on the wonders or terrors of virtual reality to sustain
interest.... Tin Lizzy's skills have as much to do with mass
psychology as source code. Anyone who has come across a tantalizing
nugget of information on the Internet and wondered whether to
believe it will appreciate the way she feeds, and exploits, the
public's lust for insider information."
Library Journal
- "a rapid-fire tale of fugitives in cyberspace that sizzles
with electric prose and bold images drawn from technology's cutting
edge."
